It's November! It's so weird that it's already November but we'll be okay haha.
Writing Update
I'm trying to write 50,000 words this month! As per the title of this email haha. That includes having to write 1,667 words every day. So far, I've been keeping up, but I'll update y'all next month on how that goes.
Currently I've written around 5,000 words, which I'm satisfied with! This was called NaNoWriMo and I have done this in the past.
The problem is that the site/company has had some problems surrounding them, so I'll be doing the challenge but not on their site haha. If you're curious, it should pop up on Google when you search it up.
Life Update
I think I'm growing more used to being in my new school! It still doesn't feel right, but it's been getting better.
Some of my classes have been challenging, but that was to be expected. (AP Biology is killing me, someone send help. xD)
From My Playlist
I didn't listen to a whole lot of new music this month, but these were some of my favs!
- Happy by Day6 | Contrary to the title, I think it's actually quite a sad song. But very good, nonetheless.
- Heaven's Cloud by Seventeen | This song feels like a spring day. That doesn't make sense, but it does to me, so. Yeah, it's good.
- Counting Stars by One Republic | Ahh nostalgia. The feels that this song gives me are amazing. It's good.
Wow can you tell that I'm tired as I'm writing this xDD
On My Bookshelf
I didn't do as much reading this past month haha, but I did do some.
- I must betray you by Ruta Sepetys | YO this was depressinggg. As all historical fiction books are. Jk. I really liked this book because it wasn't a WWII book, which is the really common type of historical fiction book. Also the writing is really good and it's just terribly sad and good.
- The Disappearences by Emily Bain Murphy | This was another really, really good one. The premise that in this town, something disappears every seven years just tugged me in. And it's not like cows disappear every seven years or something. It would be something like their sense of smell, color, ect. The premise itself was amazing but the writing was really good too.
Those are all that are coming to mind hehe. Have you read these books?
